Dr. Molly B. Quinn, D.O., M.S.
Molly received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University, master’s degree from DePaul University, and medical doctorate from Midwestern University. With a heart for academics, she found herself best suited to encourage and inspire those wishing to pursue the biological and medical sciences. Shortly after receiving her medical degree, Molly joined the faculty at DePaul University during which her second year as a professor, she married and was pregnant weeks from her honeymoon. She miscarried thereafter and was never quite the same. She continued at DePaul while remaining determined to have a living child. Shortly after giving birth, she became passionate about wanting to express what she had gained from her loss.
As Molly delighted in the pleasure of caring for her second child, she was certain she would find a way to encourage the spirits of those who had suffered as she had. She began writing The Quiet Club: Journeys of Spiritual Healing through Miscarriage, Stillbirth, and Infertility through three subsequent successful pregnancies. She currently resides in Sleepy Hollow, IL as a stay-at-home mom nurturing four children.
Molly has been a member of the Willow Creek Community Church for over 10 years. She is currently involved in ‘Yielded Moms,’ a group dedicated to exploring ways to raise children in a Christ-like environment. In the past, she was involved in the medical, extensions, and H.I.V. ministries.
Molly has been zealous in her desire to connect with those who have experienced infertility, the death of a child during pregnancy, or the challenges of pregnancy after loss. Her loss initiated an internal fire, a yearning to extend herself to whatever measure possible to be of a support. She has co-founded Beckoning Hands a ministry for families who are in need of a safe place to mourn and find consolation.
Joyce L. Ndoria, MBA, M.A.
No matter where you come from, the hue of your skin, or the language you speak Joyce is passionate about people. This passion was first instilled in her as a young girl when she watched her mom care for children in the neighborhood who were hungry and without clothes. She was forever impacted by this experience.
Joyce, a former Peace Corps volunteer, spent 5 years in East and West Africa working with women’s groups involved in small enterprise development. In East Africa, she worked with local women’s groups come up with ideas to market to the community with the intent of making profit, feeding their families, and in reinvesting in bigger ventures. In West Africa, she would help women fleeing from war torn countries begin self sustainable enterprises to support themselves and their families.
Married for more than 10 years Joyce and her huband became pregnant in their fifth year of marriage. Beginning her seventh month of pregnancy, carrying twins, Joyce received the devastating news that her babies had died in utero. She went on to become pregnant again only to miscarry that child within the first trimester. Thankfully, Joyce and Jeff were blessed with a healthy baby girl one year later. Thinking that their time of sorrow had ended they attempted to expand their family only to be met with another miscarriage and subsequent infertility that continues to this day.
Joyce has a BA in Management, BS in Administration, MA in Intercultural Studies, and an MBA in Business with an emphasis in Human Resources. She is currently a doctoral student pursuing a degree in Leadership/Organizational Development and Human Resource Management. Joyce has been a member at Willow Creek for over 8 years.
